Your responsibilities
- plannning, coordinating, and executing the development, improvement, testing, and rollout of applications within the cluster, adhering to defined architecture and quality standards
- ensuring the maintainability, stability, and operability of assigned applications while supporting troubleshooting and resolution of defects and operational incidents
- promoting the use of standard tools, development frameworks, and architectural principles to support cost-effective delivery and maintain strategic alignment
- collaborating with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to balance technical feasibility with business requirements
- supporting project delivery by ensuring resource availability, technical readiness, and smooth handovers into operations
- contributing to the implementation of strategic technology and business initiatives within the cluster
- ensuring adherence to compliance, IT security, and data protection requirements through secure development practices and operational discipline
- managing collaboration with external service providers and near / offshore delivery teams to ensure quality and delivery efficiency
- supporting planning and controlling of cluster-specific budgets, cost targets, and vendor-related expenditures in coordination with the N-3 Cluster Head
- leading and developing cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, analysts, testers, architects) to foster a high-performance and collaborative work culture
- promoting continuous knowledge sharing, team development, and coaching across locations to build sustainable delivery capacity
Our requirements
fluency in English and Polishuniversity degree in insurance, business administration, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or computer scienceseveral years of experience in the technology and / or finance industry in an international environment, ideally within insurance or IT consultingsolid understanding of insurance processes, products, and digital business models, along with practical experience in complex application landscapes and IT architecturesgood knowledge of insurance IT applications and standards (e.g., processes, tools) and an understanding of interdependencies across systems and servicesproven experience in leading delivery teams with end-to-end responsibility for results, emphasizing collaboration, continuous improvement, and team accountability, with flexibility for occasional travelstrong communication and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating service orientation toward internal partners and the ability to coordinate across interfacesstrong analytical skills and the ability to identify innovative IT solutions for efficient application delivery and system optimizationOptional

The Head of Offer Engine in Poland plays a critical role in supporting the full application lifecycle within the assigned cluster team. This position ensures the stable and efficient development, enhancement, and operation of IT systems, all while aligning with defined architectural and compliance frameworks. As a key member of the product cluster leadership team, you will contribute to delivering measurable business value to Direct and Omnichannel Sales (G56) through consistent delivery performance, technical excellence, and people development across locations.
