Team / Role Overview

The team you’ll be joining is relatively new at Citi. It was founded in March of 2024 to develop AI solutions for operational problems. The team’s mission is to create automation of ITIL services for Production Operations Leve 1 and Level 2 analysts. Those include Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Certificate Management, Platform Management, Risk Management and Site Reliability Engineering. Additionally, this team is building Classic AI / ML and Generative AI capabilities to generate productivity.

What you’ll do :

The purpose of this role is to lead engineering teams across multiple businesses within Citibank to develop AI driven operational solutions

Work in a Global team from the US, UK and India and report to the Head of AI Operations at Citibank

Design and lead the build of AI solutions in a SCRUM environment with Monthly and Release On-Demand deployments

Set strategy for the Global Production Management roadmap

Be a critical engineering leader facing off against UK and India run-time engineers, along with creating architectural designs with the US team

Day to day operations is very much SDLC in nature. Working with SCUM teams to design, build, test, and deploy SPRINT deliverables on a monthly basis. For small items Release On-Demand will be leveraged.

What we’ll need from you :

Proven track record of successful AI-driven automation projects within complex operational workflows (, manufacturing, production support, supply chain, or IT operations).

Strong experience in generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP), with expertise in applying these technologies to real-world production problems

Experience in advanced analytics including experimental design and predictive modelling

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives to drive AI adoption and transformation.

Expertise in

• AI frameworks and tools
• such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, etc.

Strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically break down tasks into smaller manageable parts.

Solid understanding of systems and application design

Systematic problem-solving approach

Strong communication skills and sense of ownership and drive

Adaptable and can work with large complex and multi team owned services

Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google cloud, APIs and Micro Services.
