Lead AI Data Engineer

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

• Client : pharmaceutical industry
• Hourly Rate : up to 205 PLN + VAT
• Location : Warsaw, Poland
• Work arrangement : hybrid, once per week in the office, full-time

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement AI-powered data pipelines that leverage LLMs for query optimization, code generation, and data quality enhancement

Develop agentic AI systems that can orchestrate complex data workflows, enable real-time monitoring, and automate decision-making processes

Mature team engineering practices to incorporate AI-driven automation, ensuring scalable, robust, and impactful data solutions

Foster a culture of AI innovation and continuous learning within the data engineering department

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can solve complex data challenges and streamline workflows

Serve as the technological backbone across the organization, functioning as a cross-organizational subject matter expert on productionizing AI-enhanced data solutions

Present results and findings to stakeholders, demonstrating the transformative impact of AI integration in data engineering

Keep the team at the forefront of emerging AI technologies, including transformer architectures, embeddings, and multi-agent systems

Kogo poszukujemy?

The ideal candidate will have deep software development experience and expertise in AI / ML technologies, with a proven track record of driving AI-powered solutions into production.

MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or similar

5+ years' professional experience as an ML Engineer, AI Engineer, or Software Engineer with AI specialization

Demonstrated expertise in implementing LLMs and generative AI for data engineering applications

Experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems that can autonomously handle complex data tasks

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Track record of building and operating scalable AI-powered data solutions

Experience using / operating MLOps tools such as MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, or similar platforms

Solid understanding of Deep Learning across various modalities (vision, NLP, graph, LLMs)

Expertise in vector databases, embedding models, and AI-specific data architectures

Strong programming skills in Python and experience managing the software lifecycle (CI / CD, Version Control, Test automation)

Strong experience with cloud architecture, ideally in Azure, particularly services related to AI / ML

Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI development, and data governance best practices
