YOU WILL
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of accrued liabilities , including payroll-related accruals , in line with IFRS / US GAAP and internal policies.
- Post monthly payroll entries , including gross salaries, employer contributions, bonuses, and other payroll-related provisions.
- Reconcile payroll accounts, including salaries payable, tax liabilities, and social security contributions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accrued liabilities accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of balances.
- Calculate and record accruals for goods and services received but not yet invoiced (GRNI) and other period-end liabilities.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll providers to obtain accurate data for payroll postings and accruals.
- Investigate variances between actuals and accruals, and prepare necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and post manual journal entries related to accruals and payroll.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities , ensuring timely reporting of accrual-related items.
- Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audits , particularly related to payroll and accrued expenses.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all entries and reconciliations.
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the general ledger and payroll accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and SOX requirements (if applicable).
YOU NEED
Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, especially accrual-based accounting and payroll accounting.Experience in preparing and posting payroll journal entries and reconciling payroll accounts.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with HR, payroll providers, and external auditors.Benefits
