GL& Asset Accounting Specialist

What this position is about - Purpose :

This position involves acquiring a thorough understanding of essential GL and Fixed Asset processes from beginning to end. Responsibilities include processing GL and Fixed Asset transactions, executing month-end closing activities, preparing Fixed Asset and General Ledger reconciliations, as well as month-end reports. Additionally, the role entails performing daily checks and consolidation data checks at month-end. Furthermore, participation in local and global projects is expected as directed by the Team Lead.

What will you do - Responsibilities :

• Processing GL and Fixed Assets transactions.
• Performing month-end closing activities, providing support to markets in addressing their cases while maintaining an end-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes.
• Participating in continuous SAP and process training to enhance knowledge of processes and system matters, and supporting the training of new joiners as a buddy.
• Ensuring timely closing of each fixed asset and GL period end in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements.
