expondo Group is looking for an In-house legal counsel to advise senior management, manage external legal issues and ensure correct compliance in a Europe wide ecommerce company. As a growing company, in B2B tools and equipment, we deal with many issues with wide a range of external advisors. We now wish to bring our legal services and approach under the management of in-house lawyer and ensure a better practice to the problem and the prevention on problems before they happen.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Work with the CEO, CFO and other senior executives to manage the legal risk and prevention of major issues within the business.
- Provide Legal guidance in an international E-Commerce Group (Poland, Germany) in a wide : Commercial trading lawData protectionCompetition lawCorporate lawEmployment law
- Manage a portfolio of legal services and be the gatekeeper to who and when these are used.
- Preparation, review and negotiation of contracts in English, Polish and German.
- Identification and analysis of relevant legal developments and derivation of necessary adaptation measures.
- Communication with external lawyers and authorities
- Coordination and execution of lawsuits
WHAT YOU BRING IN
Self-reliant advice to management and employees on all legal issues and development of practical solutions.Studies in Law, fully qualified lawyerA minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment, preferably in one or more of the listed legal areasExperience in e-commerce legal issues would be a big assetInterested in a wide range of legal activitiesFluent in English and either Polish or GermanCareful, independent, structured and reliable way of working as well as quick comprehensionHands-on mentality, strong interpersonal and communications skillsWHAT WE PROVIDE
