Settlement Manager (Poland / Remote)

Right now, we’re looking for a  Settlement Manager  to join our  finance team  and support the  day-to-day operations  of our  payment settlement processes .

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of the Settlements Team , ensuring efficient and accurate processing of payment and financial transactions .
• Manage settlements with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) , including verifying the accuracy and completeness of reports received from PSPs , and reconcile with banks and the operational processing system.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of values resulting from settlement reports in the operational system.
• Reconcile GL accounts related to settlements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute periodic reports on settlement activities .
• Support projects related to settlements and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to failed or incomplete transactions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve settlement processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Settlements Team, including assigning tasks, developing and motivating employees, and tracking their performance.
• Assist in building and testing products, operational systems for payments, finance and reconciliation.
• Analysis on PSP performance and associated cost.
