About the job
The CISis looking for a Cloud Platform Administrator to Installs, configures, maintains, supports, and services customer SAS cloud systems & environments hosted by SAS or deployed on the customer’s premises.
You will be coming into a new and biggest growth area in SAS global. You will and have the chance to help to shape how we work in region while working for a variety of customers day-to-day.
As a Sr Cloud Platform Admnistrator, you will :
- Deliver excellent customer service using a customer first and continuous improvement mindset.
- Provide hands-on administration, maintenance, and installation of SAS Enterprise software and solutions.
- Provide support for global PSD / Partner delivered batch jobs and automations.
- Manage day-to-day work through SAS Cloud ticketing systems using CIS best practices for ticket update quality and frequency.
- Use IT Service Management best practices for change, incident, and problem management to meet and support Service Level Agreement requirements SAS Cloud customers.
- Create and maintain service documentation including runbooks, knowledge base articles, and wiki content.
- Configure, manage, monitor, and debug mid-tier software.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain container-based applications deployed in cloud container services.
- Develop tools and software to manage SAS and third-party software.
- Diagnose, document, report, and resolve system problems.
- Work directly with external customers and interface with other support teams and vendors.

Provides total support for a software systems.Analyzes the data processing needs of users and operation personnel; proposes, designs, and implements hardware and software changes or programs to satisfy those needsRequired Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in end user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level consulting required
As part of our team, you will work with modern cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and cloud platforms, to design, maintain, and scale distributed systems. A solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts, cloud environments (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP), and operating systems (Linux / Unix) is essential for this role. We’re looking for someone who’s not only comfortable working with these technologies, but also eager to optimize and automate infrastructure processes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
