We are looking for an experienced

Strategic Sourcing Specialist

who will take ownership of sourcing activities for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) needs in a modern biorefinery located in Germany. You will play a key role in coordinating with internal teams, managing supplier relationships, and driving sourcing excellence in a complex industrial environment.

What You Will Do

• Manage sourcing for typical MRO categories such as mechanical services, scaffolding, cleaning, insulation, crane work, pipe materials, gaskets, spare parts, and plant equipment
• Act as a key coordination point with the maintenance team, ensuring smooth alignment between operational and sourcing priorities
• Ocassioanly travel to Germany for internal coordination, bidder meetings, and supplier interactions during preparation, execution, and follow-up phases
• Plan, manage, and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFQ)
• Provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders, influencing decisions in complex sourcing projects
• Develop and execute competitive sourcing strategies and tactics to secure best value and reliability
• Lead contract creation, negotiation, and management, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce spend and optimize the supplier base
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Use SAP Ariba to manage and enhance sourcing event execution
• Ensure efficient and effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in daily operations
