At JoyFlick, we're building a real-money skill gaming platform: casual arcade games where players compete in tournaments for cash prizes. For us, the game economy is the core of the product — designed well, it drives player engagement and revenue at the same time.
We're looking for someone to own the economy and metagame of our games, so that every tournament, event, promotion and progression system makes sense for the player and for the business. You'll work closely with the core team. This is a hands-on, one-person role. We're not building a team right now — we're looking for a self-sufficient person who can design, build and run the economy end to end on their own.
What you'll do
-
Design and run the game economy: tournament structures, entry fees and prize pools, in-game currencies, bonuses and promo cost.
-
Design the metagame layer — progression, collections, seasons and passes, missions, loyalty program and activity rewards — that builds retention.
-
Plan the LiveOps calendar and design events, offers and campaigns based on player segmentation and behavior.
-
Plan and analyze A/B tests: from hypothesis, through result, to a business decision.
-
Monitor KPIs (ARPU/ARPPU, LTV, conversion to first and repeat deposit, retention) and propose concrete optimizations.
-
Work closely with the whole team to ship changes.
What we're looking for
-
Experience in a Game Economy / Monetization / Revenue / Metagame role in gaming.
-
Experience in real-money / skill-based gaming (adjacent: social casino, sweepstakes). F2P a plus.
-
A self-starter who can own the game economy single-handedly — you design, build and act as a one-person team, not just analyze.
-
Comfort working with data and with an AI-supported workflow: you know how to prompt AI tools and lean on them to move fast. (We don't expect a fixed set of query languages — you'll work with our workflow.)
-
The ability to turn data into decisions: you set the hypothesis, test it, and close it with a decision.
-
We don't have a fixed LiveOps / A/B testing stack yet — we'd like you to propose and set up what you need.
-
We work in the Warsaw time zone and need you reachable roughly 8:00–18:00 CET, so the working day isn't the middle of the night for you. Fluent English; Polish is a plus.
-
Industry experience and a genuine passion for games matter most to us.
