Mechanical Analysis Engineer (M/F)
O nas
Eycore is a Polish space technology company based in Warsaw, Poland, specializing in radar technology for space applications. Its heritage comes from designing, manufacturing and supplying military-grade radars. The acquired specialist knowledge and experience allowed the company to undertake the effort to create one of the most advanced solutions in the field of radar technology for space applications – Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
Eycore’s primary mission is to provide global access to SAR technology to those who need it most.
To this end, the company has developed a satellite modular radar sensor that is ready for integration with any satellite platform. This enables customers, such as governments or organizations around the world, to design and customize their satellites, based on off-the-shelf components available on the market, according to their specific needs.
Twój zakres obowiązków
- Develop and maintain the Finite Element Model of the SAR payload structure, accounting for materials, complex geometries and interfaces
- Conduct Static Load, Modal, and Harmonic analyses to ensure structural integrity and frequency separation requirements are met (ECSS standards and launcher requirements).
- Perform Sine and Random Vibration Analyses and Acoustic Analysis to predict component response during launch.
- Perform Shock Analysis to predict component response during launch.
- Perform thermo-elastic deformation analyses to predict Pointing Error under worst-case thermal gradients.
- Define the Test Requirements (e.g., test levels, duration, boundary conditions) for environmental test campaigns (e.g. Vibration, Shock).
- Prepare detailed Test Procedures and specify the required instrumentation (e.g., accelerometers).
- Lead the correlation of FEM with physical test results (e.g., comparing modal survey results with FEM).
- Perform required model updating and tuning to ensure the analysis models accurately reflect the flight hardware's behavior.
- Prepare and present documentation for project reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR) concerning all mechanical performance aspects.
- Requirements Management: Ensure all analyses and designs comply with mission-level Interface Requirements Document and ECSS standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-32C).
- Tool Expertise: Maintain and operate specialized engineering software (e.g. NASTRAN/Patran, Abaqus, Ansys).
- Interfacing: Act as the primary technical interface for mechanical issues with subcontractors, system engineers, and the AOCS (Attitude and Orbit Control System) team.
