We are building a new internal application development platform for a leading global bank. The goal is to give developers an experience at least as good as market solutions such as Vercel, Heroku or Coolify, within a regulated enterprise environment. The platform will serve around 30,000 developers, and approximately 80% of the bank's workloads are expected to move to it over the next 3–4 years. You will join an international team of 8 people and have the opportunity to help build a world-class developer platform from the ground up. The role combines hands-on engineering with extensive stakeholder interaction.

About you:

• Strong hands-on development skills in Java or Kotlin or Node.js
• Proven experience building and delivering engineering assets such as templates, automation, reference implementations, onboarding materials or developer tooling
• Practical understanding of developer experience, including standardisation and automation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both senior management and large developer audiences
• Ability to write clear technical content (documentation, how-to guides, examples) for large audiences
• Production mindset covering security, resilience, observability and supportability
• Self-driven approach and strong collaboration skills across multiple teams
