Truck Driver – National & International Transport (Relocation to Belgium)

• Transporting loads nationally and internationally
• Taking responsibility for the vehicle, its crew, and the cargo
• Correctly applying cargo securing procedures
• Checking that the products are loaded and unloaded correctly and that they correspond with the information stated on the consignment note
• Keeping the planning department informed at all times, especially in the event of problems or delays
• Working in accordance with the procedures and safety regulations imposed by the customer

Conditions

• Fully legal employment in accordance with Belgian regulations, including social security, health insurance, and accrual of Belgian pension rights.
• Meal vouchers worth €5 per worked day (€105 – €110/month).
• Comfortable high-standard accommodation: furnished apartments with single rooms, including utilities (water, gas, electricity) and unlimited internet (~weekly cost €100, in line with market prices).

• Transport provided, depending on the distance between accommodation and workplace.

Profile

• You hold a valid CE driving licence and Code 95 qualification
• You are willing to spend nights in the truck
• You take good care of the equipment provided to you and the goods
• You always comply with traffic regulations and driving and rest time requirements
• You have knowledge of the digital tachograph and on-board computer
• You have a basic knowledge of Dutch or English
• You are flexible regarding working hours and schedules
• You are willing to provide support in other departments when required
• Experience with curtain-side transport is preferred
• You have a positive attitude and are customer-oriented. As a driver, you are the company’s ambassador to our customers
