Junior Service Desk Specialist

Swire Renewable Energy is looking for Junior Service Desk Specialist.

Role overview:

As a Junior Service Desk Specialist, you will provide first-line IT support to employees, helping them resolve everyday technical issues with hardware, software and access. You will also support users with Microsoft 365, manage IT requests through the ticketing system, and assist with onboarding, offboarding and IT equipment setup. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your IT skills within an international team

What you'll be doing:

• Provide first-line IT support to employees and help resolve everyday technical issues.

• Support users with hardware, software and Microsoft 365.

• Manage user accounts, access requests and IT equipment.

• Handle and track requests through the IT ticketing system.

• Support onboarding and offboarding activities.

• Create simple user guides and IT documentation.

• Escalate more complex issues to senior IT team members.

• Support IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for this position:

• Education in IT, Computer Science or a related field – completed or in progress

• Basic knowledge of hardware, software and networking.

• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.

• Good command of English, written and spoken.

• Genuine interest in technology and willingness to learn.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• A customer-focused and positive attitude.

• Previous helpdesk or technical support experience is welcome, but not essential.
