On behalf of our client, a well established and growing Fintech Group, we are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to join their expanding team in Warsaw, Poland . About the Role: Reporting closely to senior leadership, the Head of Projects will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation's project portfolio. Responsibilities include: Leading and developing the Project Management team, and establishing project governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the organisation. Acting as a trusted right hand to the COO / CIO, supporting and progressing the wider team's activities. Overseeing the successful delivery of strategic projects and programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, timelines, and resource availability. Driving continuous improvement of delivery standards, tools, and methodologies, with a strong focus on Agile and hybrid delivery models. Providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management to Project Managers and cross-functional delivery teams. Partnering with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable project roadmaps and measurable outcomes. Establishing and maintaining executive-level reporting on project health, risks, dependencies, and resource utilisation. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, executive leadership, and third-party vendors. Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence. What You'll Need to Succeed: A minimum of 8 years' experience in Project Management, including at least 3 years as a Head of Projects or in a similar leadership capacity. A proven track record of managing complex project portfolios and leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven environments. Experience within FinTech, Financial Services, Gaming, or other highly regulated industries is considered a strong advantage. Excellent command of English and Polish, both written and verbal. Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio management, resource planning, budgeting, and risk management. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology project delivery. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive and board level. Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while driving strategic change and operational excellence. Must be based in Poland.
