Senior IT Operations Professional (Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Professional to take single point of ownership in IT infrastructure and service delivery across Poland and Hungary. This is not a corporate management role focused on large teams and multi-million-euro budgets. We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the technology understands operational realities and is comfortable combining strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

You will support approximately 200 users across Poland and Hungary working with a modernised infrastructure consisting of Azure services and two small data centres. The infrastructure has been significantly upgraded over the last two years. You are walking into something clean modern and ready for someone with the right skills to own it.

What You Will Do

• Take full ownership of IT operations and infrastructure across Poland and Hungary.

• Administer Azure and on-premises environments hands-on independently every day.

• Run ITIL processes in practice incident problem change asset and configuration management.

• Manage outsourced IT vendors contracts SLAs escalations performance reviews.

• Coordinate IT procurement and support budget control.

• Ensure IT security compliance and business continuity.

• Be the single point of ownership for IT across Poland and Hungary.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Operations or Infrastructure roles.

• Proven hands-on experience administering Azure environments.

• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments (Azure and on-premises).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational tasks.

• Ability to prioritize issues and deliver practical effective solutions.

• Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

• Fluent Polish and English.

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or higher would be a great addition.

• ITIL certification is always welcome.

• VMware or Hyper-V experience is a bonus.

• PowerShell automation skills would be great.

• Multi-country IT experience is a plus.
