LQA and FQA Freelance on-site with Traditional Chinese (ZHO-TW)

JOB INFORMATION

Type of cooperation: long-term, freelance

Location: on-site - Roboto Global office at Gdańska 41, Warsaw

Work hours: you would need to be available during our office hours (9-17 CET, Mon-Fri)

Availability: ideally, we are looking to start cooperation with freelancers who potentially can test 8 hours per day

Who are we looking for:
Professional LQA testers, who are skilled and experienced in LQA testing and localizing texts from English into Traditional Chinese

Responsibilities:

• LQA testing on PC and/or consoles in our office
• Reporting ZHO-TW linguistic and non-linguistic bugs (reports should be in English)
• Making sure that deadlines are met
• Collaborating with PMs, QA team, editors and translators.

Qualifications:

• Perfect knowledge of Traditional Chinese in all possible aspects (punctuation, grammar, and spelling)
• Very good command of English
• Experience with LQA testing and/or translation/editing, preferably game or e-sport localization projects
• Linguistic degree preferred, but you may also be a last-year student
• Legal right to work in Poland
• Attention to detail
• Passion for games is an advantage
• Proficiency in CAT tools is an advantage

If your application matches the requirements, we will invite you to the recruitment process. We will ask you additional questions to check whether we are a good fit for each other. The next step is completing a language and LQA sample in our office in Warsaw. It's composed of small fragments of various texts, chiefly related to video games, and it has a 24-hour deadline. Our in-house linguist will review the sample, and we will get back to you with the feedback information within two weeks.

If everything goes well, we will sign a freelance cooperation agreement. From this moment our Project Managers will be able to contact you directly with suitable projects.

Some important information:

Since this is an on-site work in our office in Warsaw, a work permit and a legal right to work in Poland will be required. WE DO NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE IN OBTAINING THE WORK PERMIT IN POLAND.
