Collection Specialist with Nordic Language

Right now we are looking for Collection Specialist with Nordic Language to join our Collection Team.

What you will do:

• Proactively chase for payments through incoming and outgoing phone calls.

• Document and change the status of accounts handle referrals and transfer funds on accounts.

• Chase for remit for payments received and provide copy documents.

• Initiate write-off requests following approval policy.

• Identify resolve and escalate queries as necessary.

• Support clearing cash accounts by transferring funds as needed.

• Request credit notes and coordinate with billing resources.

• Manage refunds for overpayments and credit balances.

• Maintain high standards of system operation and data quality.

• Produce reports as required and provide collection-related reporting.

• Troubleshoot and resolve account issues driving payment delays.

• Actively support and manage controls and compliance with SOX defined processes.

What You Will Need:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages (Swedish Danish or Norwegian).

• Degree in finance accounting business or a related field.

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel Access) proficiency with ERP systems.

• Min. 2 Years of credit/collections experience.

• Customer service experience related to large corporate customers as well as with high-volume and multi-platform environments.

• Proficiency in analysing financial data.

• Ability to identify potential risk in your account portfolio as well as the ability to manage and mitigate these risks.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in a shared services environment.
