Position: Bilingual Polish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$54/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 20+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Write expert-level prompts in Polish across specialized scientific topics. Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. Collaborate with AI teams to ensure models handle specialized technical topics in Polish safely. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model safety. Qualifications Must-Have PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field. Native or near-native fluency in Polish and business-level written English. Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques. Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred Based in Poland or Eastern Europe. Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background. Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis or molecular biology. Research or coursework on chemical safety and security. Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
