Product Lead (Trading) @ Railsware

We're building a trading product from the ground up and looking for a Product Lead who is both an active trader and an experienced product manager 🙌

This isn't a role where one side is a nice-to-have. You'll be making product decisions that require real market intuition — understanding how traders think, what they actually need at execution speed, what separates a tool they trust from one they abandon, who the players in the market are, such as prop firms, brokers, data providers, what a CME license is, etc. Product management skills alone won't get you there. Trading experience alone won't either.

This particular role is part of a small, founder-led team building in the trading space. You'd be joining:

• Yaroslav Lazor — product & engineering (CEO and founder of Railsware, previously helped scale Calendly)
• Umar Ashraf — product, markets & distribution (founder of Tradezella, with 4M+ subscriber YouTube trading channel)

What you’ll get?

Product Management

• 5+ years in Product Management
• Hands-on experience shipping SaaS products — B2C (end-user focus) and B2B (understanding sales workflows and processes)
• Demonstrated ability to own and communicate end-to-end product vision
• Experience with PDM frameworks, product analytics, and product design tools
• Experience running customer development and market research independently
• Experience delivering software products in the US and/or EU markets

Trading experience

• Active trading experience in any market — futures, stocks, crypto, forex, or similar
• Day trading, scalping, and/or swing trading experience

Technical Background & Tools

• Technical background — you understand high-level architecture, can work directly with engineers, and don't need others to interpret technical constraints
• AI fluency: you use AI actively across research, prototyping, analysis, and decision-making
• Comfortable working with data independently: SQL or equivalent ability to run ad-hoc product analysis without always needing a data analyst
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools
• General software literacy: comfortable navigating technical tools, dashboards, and developer workflows

• Experience in product at a broker, trading platform, or fintech
• Experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy
• Engineering background
