Company Overview

Our client is an organisation undergoing a significant data transformation initiative. They are migrating historical data from multiple enterprise systems into a modern cloud-based data warehouse requiring careful coordination across ERP CRM and data engineering teams. This project represents a critical step in their digital transformation journey ensuring data completeness quality and alignment with business needs across the organisation.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Business Analyst capabilities to lead this strategic historical data migration initiative. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a complex cross-functional project that will shape how the organisation leverages its historical data going forward.

Position Overview

As Project Manager you will own the end-to-end delivery of a historical data migration project extracting and migrating data from SAP Salesforce and other legacy platforms into Snowflake using Azure-based ETL tools. This role combines project governance stakeholder management and business analysis requiring you to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will ensure timely delivery while maintaining data integrity quality and compliance throughout the migration process.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the complete project plan including scope timeline milestones risks and resources
• Drive project governance through regular status meetings and RAID log management
• Report progress to senior stakeholders and ensure delivery within scope and budget
• Manage dependencies across ERP CRM and data engineering workstreams
• Collaborate with ERP and MA teams to define data extraction scope from source systems
• Elicit analyse and document business and functional requirements for data migration
• Map source data structures to target Snowflake data models identifying gaps and transformation rules
• Perform data profiling and quality assessments to identify cleansing needs
• Define data validation and acceptance criteria to ensure migrated data integrity
• Facilitate change management and communication plans for affected teams
• Coordinate UAT processes and sign-off with Business Process Owners
• Support data lineage documentation and compliance requirements
• Act as primary contact between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Partner with MA teams to understand business context and acquisition-related data history
• Work with Business Process Owners to prioritise and validate data requirements

Requirements

• 6-8 years of project management experience
• Strong business analysis skills with proven ability to elicit and document requirements
• Experience managing data migration projects across multiple source systems
• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce platforms
• Understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts particularly Snowflake
• Familiarity with Azure-based ETL tools and processes
• Ability to map data structures and define transformation rules
• Experience with data profiling quality assessment and validation
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
• Proven ability to manage project governance including RAID logs and status reporting
• Experience coordinating UAT and securing stakeholder sign-off
• Understanding of data lineage and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams
• Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and complex workstreams
