Leader Team Finantial Reporting

As a Data Leader / Solution Designer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation of our client family by helping it grow by setting up high-performance teams in its new Hub in Poland, as well as the continuous evolution of the platforms that support our business lines.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

• You will be a key interface between global PPTS's organization and local teams, managing directly a local team and coordinate with global teams, providing clear objectives and tasks in support of delivery of the agreed joint goals
• You will support the executive Domain leadership on any strategic matters and interact with other Domains and lines of business to develop a deep understanding of critical issues and manage high priority strategic initiatives
• You will create and maintain effective internal and external partnerships with Global and Local stakeholders, at all levels, to enhance 2 way communications and support
• You will analyze and reengineer end to end your Tribe processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the Corporate & Investment Banking division, understanding business needs and priorities
• You will translate the customer, business functional needs and their process needs into technological solutions by participating in its design and creating KPIs that allow its measurement
• You will define required functionalities, design the services that form the application and/or the integration of these solutions with other components of other applications
• You will find technological solutions to complex operational and processing problems and makes recommendations to senior management
• You will be accountable for budget (both forecast and actuals), including resource time captured via Planview Resource Management
• You will also be accountable to delivery, using escalation paths to highlight and formally agree any change required during delivery
• You will lead proposals by preparing both executive and detailed presentations for the various stakeholders, reporting their status and identifying and managing potential risks with them
• You will draw up the technical documentation required in accordance with the Group's Development Policies and the stipulations of the solution design (JIRA, Confluence, ALM, …)
• You will certify the software produced and the integration of its components with others or third parties, carrying out the certification cycles defined in the testing strategy

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Relevant experience (+7 years of experience) in IT, analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and participating in the design of technological solutions, and managing projects
• It is also required proven experience managing IT teams, data engineering and data governance policies & best practices.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or similar
• Master's degree in finance, business or data science would be an asset
• Fluent English, C2 desirable (work is largely in English) and fluent Spanish would be an asset

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Background in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Software Development, Systems Design
• Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Continuous Integration and continuous delivery tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins), Devops and automated testing
• Modelling languages
• Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Google, BigQuery, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, including Business Cases, project planning, stakeholder mapping and comms plans and risk and issue management
• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player; leading the group to address complex problems, thinking outside the box, and driving to best solution
• Team building, mentoring, career development, interpersonal skills, team work ethic and leadership skills
• Knowledge of financial products as Derivatives, FX/MM, Fixed Income, Lending, Cash Management, Trade Finance
• Accounting principles & Financial reporting and reconciliation
• Liquidity and Capital regulatory reporting
• Ability to understand business requirements from End-users
• Interest in new technologies and programming languages
• Ability to research, analyze, document and present organizational metrics
• Analytical and conceptual way of thinking
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the use of presentation skills and the ability to create a requirements package
• Strong understanding of Teamwork and the role the candidate has to play as part of a Team
• High level of tools in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint / Excel / Word/...)
• Curious with passion for solving problems
• Proficient working with third party vendors to enable the services and features needed
• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
