• Compensation: $100000-$120000 USD 1-2% Equity
• Work Authorization: Existing Polish work authorization required

About the Role

Were looking for a Founding Engineer to become one of the first technical hires and help shape both the product and the engineering culture from day one.

Youll work across product infrastructure AI systems and developer tooling building production-grade agentic AI systems used by real customers. This is a high-ownership role where youll make architectural decisions ship quickly and help define the future of personal AI.

Tech Stack

• TypeScript Fastify Drizzle Postgres on Neon Vercel AI SDK AI Gateway Vercel Workflow GKE SwiftUI iOS

What Youll Do

AI Product Development;

• Build production-ready AI agent systems for consumer applications
• Design scalable infrastructure supporting millions of AI interactions
• Develop state-of-the-art agentic user experiences
• Build integrations with messaging platforms including WhatsApp and iMessage

Platform & Infrastructure;

• Design scalable backend architecture and distributed systems
• Improve observability benchmarking and evaluation pipelines
• Optimize AI inference costs while maximizing quality
• Build reliable production infrastructure for large-scale AI workloads

Engineering Excellence;

• Own features from architecture through production deployment
• Make technical decisions with high autonomy
• Continuously improve platform reliability and performance
• Help establish engineering standards and technical culture

What Were Looking For

Must Have;

• Strong software engineering background with production experience
• Experience shipping AI agents or LLM-powered products to real users
• Strong backend engineering skills (TypeScript or similar)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments

Nice to Have;

• Founder or early-stage startup experience
• Experience building consumer (B2C) products
• Experience with AI agent evaluation and observability
• Cost optimization for LLM applications
• Infrastructure engineering experience
• Experience with Vercel AI SDK SwiftUI Kubernetes PostgreSQL or modern AI infrastructure
