We are looking for a COMMISSIONING ENGINEER, to join our experienced team!

WW Technic is technical services provider in ship building, ship repair, off-shore, oil & gas, power & heat and other industries. We start-up and commissioning of selected systems that impact safety, efficiency and sustainability. The Role:

As our Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be on-site integrating and start-up power supplying systems and hybrid propulsion based on VFD, permanent magnet generator technology, DC-link power distribution and energy storage systems.

You’ll be responsible for:

· Inspection/verification of installation correctness on site (done by shipyard)

· PLC software synchronization

· VFD (variable frequency drives) parameters synchronization and tunning

· Interfaces testing with other vessels systems (PMS, MSB, ME, PCS, TCS)

· Starting up and testing the modes

· Trials attendance

· Reporting

You’ll work in diverse locations around the globe, focusing on sustainable solutions for cutting-edge systems. Your work will directly support environmentally friendly practices in high-impact sectors.

You’ll be supported by WW Technic's Technical Service Managers who have extensive knowledge, experience and skills. They will help you face complex challenges and navigate the project smoothly.

You will work with cross-cultural engineering teams from around the world.

About the role

As a Service Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising and executing service activities related to ship electrical systems and equipment onboard vessels worldwide.

This role combines technical expertise with coordination responsibilities, quality control and direct cooperation with clients and project teams.

You will:

  • Execute service assignments in accordance with technical and quality documentation
  • Coordinate and supervise electrical repair, maintenance and modernization works onboard vessels
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of service activities
  • Perform technical inspections and acceptance of completed works
  • Prepare service reports, technical documentation and quality records
  • Cooperate with ship crews, subcontractors, project teams and clients during project execution
  • Support troubleshooting and service activities related to electrical equipment, control systems and switchgear solutions

Your assignments will take you to shipyards, ports and vessels across the world, where you will play an important role in ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.

Working environment

Our engineers work globally — typically on 2-week assignments, averaging around 6 months of travel per year.

Between projects, you remain supported by the organization and connected with experienced technical teams who provide operational and engineering assistance throughout project execution.

At WW Technic, engineers work closely together, share knowledge and support each other during demanding service operations and vessel projects.

What we expect

  • Technical University or Maritime Academy degree in electrical engineering, automation, control systems or related fields
  • 0.5–2 years of experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or service of modern electrical and control systems in maritime and/or industrial environments
  • Readiness to travel worldwide for project assignments
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, including technical communication and reporting
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Practical and responsible approach to technical work
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Driving license category B

Experience with ship electrical systems, switchboards, circuit breakers, automation systems or marine service operations will be considered an advantage.
