RTR Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the Team’s operational activities by defining priorities, planning workload, and ensuring targets are consistently achieved
• Supervising day-to-day processes to ensure adherence to internal policies, controls, and procedures
• Ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly in line with Group reporting standards and local GAAP requirements
• Leading and coordinating period-end close activities (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Strengthening the control environment by overseeing key controls, detecting gaps, and driving corrective actions
• Supporting in-depth financial analyses to enhance data accuracy and provide meaningful business insights
• Presenting results and performance metrics through structured reports and dashboards to senior management
• Advising the Team on complex or unusual accounting matters and transactions
• Serving as a subject matter expert in accounting and staying up to date with regulatory and reporting changes
• Developing Team capabilities through coaching, knowledge sharing, and training initiatives
• Driving process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives
• Introducing and promoting best practice solutions across operations
• Building a high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement
• Posting to the general ledger, including payroll entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Handling bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations
• Performing balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Managing month-end closing and financial reporting activities
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting project accounting processes
• Providing documentation and support for both internal and external audit requirements

Candidate Profile

• Solid accounting experience, including prior leadership responsibilities, ideally within an international or multinational organisation
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX regulations, and EMEA compliance standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree considered an advantage)
• Professional certification such as CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with SAP and financial reporting tools
• Advanced technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.); familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft is a plus
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and manage priorities
• Experience in finance transformation, automation, or digital initiatives preferred
• Self-driven mindset combined with strong collaboration skills
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
