We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop data-driven solutions for industrial manufacturing processes, particularly in the building materials sector (e.g., cement, asphalt, concrete). The role focuses on applying machine learning and advanced analytics to improve production efficiency, optimise energy usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimise industrial production processes.

• Analyse production and time-series data to identify patterns, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities.

• Build and maintain data pipelines and data infrastructure supporting reliable analytics.

• Create data visualisations and interactive dashboards to communicate insights to operational and technical teams.

• Support the deployment and monitoring of analytical solutions in production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (required)

• Experience developing machine learning models and working with Python.

• Strong skills in data analysis, statistical modelling, and data visualisation.

• Experience with Git, modern data architectures, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with interactive dashboards (Streamlit, Dash or similar).

• Knowledge of Docker or containerisation technologies.

• Experience with industrial time-series data or process control systems.

• Exposure to energy optimisation, sustainability, or CO₂ reduction projects.

• Familiarity with MLOps practices.
