Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced and committed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take full responsibility for managing the company’s financial function—both strategically and operationally. This role goes beyond managing standalone company finances; the CFO will also play a critical role in group-level reporting and consolidation within an international corporate structure, reporting under IFRS. The successful candidate will work closely with the private equity fund, Management Board and business units, supporting strategic decision-making through reliable financial insight and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full financial function of the company, including controlling, accounting, and both management and statutory reporting
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards (including IFRS)
• Provide support for group-level financial reporting and consolidation across the wider international organization
• Develop and optimize controlling processes to support project profitability and operational efficiency
• Cooperate with banks, funds, and investors regarding financing of operations and infrastructure projects
• Deliver proactive financial support through in-depth analysis, forecasting, profitability reviews, and investment evaluations
• Oversee financial compliance, cost control, and liquidity management
• Manage and develop the finance, accounting, HR, and IT teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture

Requirements:

• To thrive in this role, you’ll need to hold membership in a recognized professional body (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CFA, Polish Registered Auditor etc.)
• Proven experience as CFO or in another senior finance leadership role, preferably in companies managing infrastructure or investment projects
• Hands-on experience in designing and executing financial and operational restructuring initiatives, including organizational reorganisation and cost optimisation projects
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of corporate finance, including accounting, controlling, reporting, and financial analysis
• Demonstrated experience in group-level reporting and consolidation within an international group reporting under IFRS
• Track record of successful cooperation with investment funds and financial institutions
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach and willingness to engage in operational tasks when needed
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (essential due to cooperation with international stakeholders)
• Strong leadership skills, integrity, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
