Staff Engineer - Java Architect – Enterprise AI Platform

📍 Hybrid in Warsaw (3 days / week onsite required) | 💼 Full-time, B2B - or UoP | 💰 Up to $10,000 / month

With offices across multiple countries, the company is now investing in a new engineering centre in Warsaw, recognizing the exceptional skill and culture of Polish software professionals.

PaaS (Platform as a Service) : an AI-native enterprise operations foundation that optimizes workflows, surfaces insights, and accelerates value creation.

SaaS (Software as a Service) : a cloud platform delivering performance, intelligence, and scalability at enterprise level.

S&C (Solutions & Consulting Suite) : modular playbooks designed to manage, grow, and optimize organizational performance.

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable, robust software solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure that architectural strategy aligns with business objectives. This role requires both strong technical depth and leadership excellence.

responsibilities :

Architectural Design : Define and document scalable, secure application architecture using Java (back-end) and React (front-end).

Technology Leadership : Mentor teams, drive technical decisions, and enforce best practices.

Solution Development : Lead the design of complex systems integrating front-end and back-end layers.

Code Quality : Conduct and oversee code reviews to ensure maintainable, high-quality software.

Innovation : Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance.

Collaboration : Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Risk & Performance Management : Identify risks early and ensure performance optimization, high availability, and security.

requirements-expected :

Extensive experience in Java (Spring, Spring Boot) for building back-end services.

Proven ability in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of front-end integration (React, Redux) and responsive design.

Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and CI / CD practices.

Familiarity with architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM) and event-driven architectures.

3+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role.

Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring capabilities.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills to solve complex technical challenges.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years in software development with strong focus on Java.

Cloud, React, or Java certifications are a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

A collaborative mindset with passion for innovation and continuous learning.
