Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Transformation and Programmatic Lead to manage a team of media planners and buyers, delivering high‑impact digital campaigns across all EU markets and develop the future‑proof service. You will be the leader of transformational change based on martech solutions, all available innovation opportunities on the market. In essence, you’ll be responsible for implementation of digital planning, buying, optimisation and reporting—driving performance and efficiency beyond what traditional media agencies typically achieve.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead digital transformation in service, technology, process aspects of the media planning and buying strategy for the programmatic team.
- Manage the EU programmatic media team, including planning, strategy and campaign evaluation.
- Take ownership of your own digital campaigns from start to finish—working with internal stakeholders, planning, buying, optimising and reporting results.
- Build integrated digital media plans, ensuring online and offline channels work together effectively.
Ad Tech & Optimization
Ensure all ad operations, tracking and audience targeting requirements are in place in our platforms (DSPs).Implement and use real‑time optimisation tools (e.g., Datorama, AI tools) to boost performance and train the team.Keep the team informed on updates in social, search, programmatic buying, data, platforms and analytics.Reporting & Productivity
Produce regular reports showing campaign results and productivity gains.Help demonstrate the value of the in‑house media team to secure resources and scale capabilities.Maintain focus on efficiency and effectiveness KPIs.Team Leadership & Management
Lead recruitment, onboarding and HR processes for the team.Identify skills gaps and train the team (personally or through partners) to maintain high standards.Define responsibilities within the team and ensure workload is balanced.Support team members’ development plans and create a strong, collaborative culture.Culture & Best Practices
Promote a culture of sharing knowledge and best practices within the media and marketing teams.Ensure campaigns meet brand safety and fraud prevention standards.Stay informed on business priorities and market trends, bringing insights and innovative ideas to campaigns.Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Background
12+ years in programmatic and / or social campaign planning & buying across digital platforms.Proven track record of executing brand campaigns and achieving KPIs.Strong expertise in DV360 and Facebook Ads Manager; working knowledge of Campaign Manager (CM) and ad tech / ad ops.Search advertising knowledge a plus.Solid understanding of tracking, attribution and analytics.Leadership & Management
Proven ability to manage and develop direct reports.Strong project management skills.Analytical & Strategic Thinking
Problem solver with the ability to think creatively and strategically.Strong analytical skills to turn data into actionable strategies.Ability to present results clearly to senior stakeholders.Soft Skills & Attributes
