Your responsibilities
- Proactive confrontation of encountered business topics (mainly in employee relations area) with legal regulations.
- Managing GDPR issues
- Advising members of the Leadership Team in introducing solutions to changing regulations.
- Tracking changes in labor law regulations and suggesting methods of implementation in the organization.
- Being an advisor in adapting changes in regulations to internal procedures and systems.
- Ensuring efficient and qualitive delivery of advice across business, in line with local legal regulations.
- Providing advanced knowledge of HR policies and best practices in accordance with the law.
- Conducting analyzes and issuing legal opinions on the introduced documents, procedures, or regulations.
- Developing, delivering, and supporting HR projects to meet the legal requirements.
- Ability to analyze and explain how policies or procedures apply to unique business needs.
- Designing and implementing policies.
- Oversee the creation and documentation of written HR procedures.
- Enabling the development and maintenance of business relevant templates and standardized guidance.
- Proactive support in raising knowledge about current labor law regulations for all managerial levels.
- Delivering and preparing training materials and conducting workshops.
- Conducting explanatory proceeding in employee matters.
- Supporting solving problems and independently resolve first level escalations.
- Demonstrating skill in communicating verbally and in writing clearly and influentially, with impact and attention to the needs of different audiences.
- Cooperating with law firms in solving more complex labor law cases.
- Participation and Responsibility for external and internal audits, governance, and risk management.
- Investing time in maintaining and developing legal knowledge.

The role holder supports all functions of our Human Resources department by providing legal support to the organization, mainly in the area of employee relations. Operating as an experienced lawyer providing high quality, commercially informed, accurate legal advice and services supporting GDC Leadership and HR managers.
Key area of responsibility is to fulfil an objective, advisory role, facilitating risk management and compliance for the GDC Poland by providing advice that supports informed decision-making. Employee on this position may be engaged in providing advice about legal issues, risk and possibilities affecting GDC Poland for all stages of a legal regulations and employees’ contract.
Lawyer at this level may also establish a particular area of expertise where required for the benefit of the GDC Poland. Subject matter experts operate as a single point of contact in advising GDC Poland mangers on legal cases.
