The position involves maintaining the monitoring solution within a globally distributed framework, collaborating with various internal and external teams to optimize and automate the current setup while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.
Your role
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions in a distributed environment (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Checkmk, Nagios, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues related to monitoring / service check configurations
- Manage and optimize IT network domains, including L2, L3, Firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, Routing Protocols, TCP, UDP, etc.
- Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance Consumer Experience (CX)
- Utilize AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow) and cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, GCP) for monitoring and management
- Understand and address consumer needs effectively
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Your skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferredOver 5 years of professional experience in ITAt least 2 years of experience with technical monitoring solutionsProficiency in deploying and managing monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Checkmk, Nagios, etc.)Strong scripting skills – PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.Basic working knowledge of AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow) and cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, GCP)Excellent communication skillsExperience with leading monitoring, data analysis, and visualization toolsPreferred certifications : CCNA, CompTIA Network+Additional certifications in monitoring tools are advantageousITIL and Lean certifications are a plusJob no.240604-VDL3K
