Head of Contract Logistics

Job Description

• Oversee contract logistics operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic and operational goals.
• Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the contract logistics division, monitoring revenues and expenses and implementing corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
• Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing existing relationships to increase market share and profitability.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Director to ensure process efficiency and optimization through operational support and expertise.
• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Drive and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute long-term contract logistics strategies in alignment with the organization's goals.
• Analyze market trends and innovations to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with operational and sales teams to build and maintain strong business relationships, both locally and internationally.
• Oversee warehouse process automation and implement value-added services to meet evolving customer needs.
• Participate in strategic negotiations and sourcing activities to optimize costs and ensure efficient service delivery.
