What You’ll Do as Key Account Manager at IDS
Account Development and Client Relationship Management : As a Key Account Manager, you’ll build strong, long-term relationships with 20–40 remove strategic clients across one or more countries. You’ll ensure maximum 'share of wallet' per client and achieve predefined volume targets, always aligned with the client’s long-term strategy.
Turning Sales Strategy into Results : Working closely with the Sales Manager, you’ll translate the IDS sales strategy into concrete account goals and action plans. You’ll closely monitor progress and proactively steer efforts to meet targets.
Sharing Insights and Strengthening Teams : You’ll foster positive collaboration within the commercial department by sharing market trends and client insights. In doing so, you’ll help strengthen the team and boost overall commercial effectiveness.
Identifying and Capitalizing on Market Trends : You’ll keep your finger on the pulse of the market. By quickly spotting changes and translating them into actionable proposals, you’ll help strengthen our position and increase market share.
Monitoring Financial Returns and Credit Management : You’ll safeguard the financial health of your client portfolio. In collaboration with the credit department, you’ll ensure timely payments, minimize risks, and guarantee optimal financial performance.
Insightful Reporting and CRM Documentation : You’ll provide management with both qualitative and quantitative insights into client performance and market dynamics. All activities will be recorded thoroughly and systematically in the CRM system.
Your Profile
A university degree in Business Administration or Economics is ideal, possibly supplemented with relevant professional experience.
At least3 years of B2B experience within a transport sector ( fuelcards,tolls,vat recovery etc.), including a minimum of 2 years managing complex customer relationships, is required.
You’re familiar with managing strategic client portfolios and achieving commercial targets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.
You have a results-driven, commercial mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
You collaborate well in teams and balance this with a helicopter view and pragmatic approach.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
You communicate very good in both Polish and English, written and spoken.
