Your responsibilities

For the further strategic development of our Company, we are looking for a Finance Specialist at our location in Gdańsk. As a Finance Specialist, you are part of a dedicated international team and contribute directly and independently to the company's success. In this position, you will be contributing financial, accounting and reporting tasks.

We can offer you the following tasks

• Invoicing processes (incoming and outcoming);
• Transfer preparation and bank handling (with 4-eyes-principle in place);
• Support company in auditing procedures;
• Helping the Finance Manager to set up inhouse booking system (taking over from external accountant) :
• Recording payments (incoming and outcoming);
• Booking invoices (incoming and outcoming);
• Reconcile general accounts;
• Reconcile general ledger with bank accounts;
• Etc.
• Aging list;
• Book and reconcile employee expenses (with Travel expenses reports);
• Support company with TPD (transfer price documentation);
• Contact person foe Employees and suppliers with possible finance questions.

Where we need you

Your office will be located in Gdansk, Poland.

As a Finance Specialist of financial, accounting and reporting matters you will be mainly in the office to be able to meet with Employees. There is possibility of need to travel to Poznań (second office) from time to time (rarely).

MAN Energy Solutions, as an worldwide experienced expert in marine engines and stationary power plants, founded MAN Energy Solutions Poland sp. z o.o. in 2010, with its own independent capital and as its own authorized company in Poland.

In Poland backoffice is very small. We have small Finance team and HR team. For many years there was 1 Specialist for both departments. We will grow to 5!

Our Polish Entity is ahead of the big growth. We will expand office in Poznań. Additionally, from 2025 we are opening new workshop in Gdansk to increase our potential in medium speed engines and turbochargers.
