Your career opportunity Global Trade Solutions Department (GTS) is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.Today, HSBC is the leading international trade bank and GTS sits as part of Commercial Banking. We support customers’ right through the trade cycle, from raw materials - to manufacturing and shipment - to discounting and collecting invoices. We do this by working with Commercial Banking and Global Banking relationship managers, providing solutions appropriate for the customers' need.The jobholder will work in Global Trade Solutions Services centre, being a part of Wholesale Operations department and cooperate with other areas of the Bank to ensure successful execution of their goals. What you’ll do The GTS CS Manager is a client-facing role and will deliver globally connected, excellent and market leading service to clients in line with GTS global segmentation model. The jobholder is responsible for managing, owning and handling the transactional needs of assigned clients. He / she :
- Delivers Krakow’s GTS strategy and operating model, aligned with the global GTS target operating model.
- Contributes to achieving the overall business objective of revenue growth through revenue retention, reduced sales time on service, proactive management of GTS service performance and increased clients’ usage of self-serve solutions.
- Handles, owns and resolves clients’ transactional queries, issues and complaints.
- Coordinates with Transaction Services staff, GSD, BDMs, RMs and other internal / external staff for service performance and issues.
- Provides transactional trade advisory to assigned clients, Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Relationship Managers (RMs), and provides input to account planning.
- Takes full ownership of clients' transactional needs and coordinate between clients, Transaction Services, Business Development, GSD (where applicable), CMB, GBM & other internal / external parties for transaction fulfilment and service performance; advises clients on trade transactional practices & products.
- Interacts with clients (and clients' customers, applicable to RF) to collect client payments & apply risk controls; encourages client adoption of self-serve solutions to enable proactive service.
- Understands clients' transactional routines, builds relationships & identifies potential increases in revenue flows for Business Development to explore; monitors client experience, client feedback & service quality.
