Supplier Enablement Functional Support Specialist (Ariba Network)

This position is part of the Purchasing & Transportation Excellence team, which drives procurement process optimization across the organization.

About the role

As a Supplier Enablement Functional Support Specialist , you will act as the key contact for onboarding suppliers to the SAP Ariba Network and ensuring smooth catalog integration via Ariba Catalog . You will work in a global environment, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to support process standardization and system adoption.

This is a functional / business-facing role – no coding or system configuration required. You will coordinate onboarding steps, support content enablement, and act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Facilitate supplier onboarding to SAP Ariba Network

Support integration of product and service catalogs into Ariba Catalog

Communicate with suppliers and present the benefits of joining the platform

Coordinate activities between suppliers and internal teams (not technical implementation)

Troubleshoot basic functional issues in collaboration with IT

Provide documentation and training on content enablement processes

Monitor quality and accuracy of supplier data and catalog content

Track KPIs related to onboarding and content performance

What we’re looking for

Experience with SAP Ariba Network and ideally also Ariba Catalog

Strong communication and coordination skills

Fluent English (B2+ / C1) – daily communication with suppliers and global teams

Experience in procurement, supplier collaboration, or catalog management is a plus

Technical knowledge is not required , but confidence in digital tools (e.g., Excel) is helpful

Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote / hybrid environment
