Your role in the team

As part of our vision and long term strategy we are creating new team focused around one of our most critical system, responsible for streaming prices and all critical data to our customers across all platforms. This is very challenging area and requires a lot of determination and dedication. As a highly experienced Java Developer, the role will give you the chance to work with streaming technologies. From day one you will be developing high volume, high performance services where security, reliability, and accuracy are paramount. You will be enthusiastic about making contributions that help the team meet the challenges we face, delivering high-quality software within aplex business domain. The role will need you to draw on your experience in approaches such as Continuous Delivery and understand how and when to use TDD, BDD and DDD to deliver high quality software that accurately represents the business domain. As part of this new team you will have a chance to renovate and reshape the way we are currently working with streaming technologies.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications and services.
• Collaborate with product managers and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to promote code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of softwareponents.
• Troubleshoot and debugplex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability through code and database optimizations.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Java developent, and apply this knowledge to enhance development processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices, tools, and frameworks within the organization.
