Senior Associate - International Audit Team

Your responsibilities
- cooperating with foreign KPMG firms on international audit projects (clients operating in foreign markets) and multinational audit projects (global accounts)
- performing and documenting audits of financial statements
- analyzing and assessing accounting and financial reporting issues in terms of compliance with relevant standards
- evaluating audit evidence and forming conclusions
- supervising the work of junior members of the audit team, including verification of assigned tasks
- supporting audit managers in effective communication with clients
Our requirements
min. 2 years of relevant audit experience and wishing to further career working on large global auditsgood knowledge of legal regulations regarding accounting and auditing (IFRS, ISA)strong verbal and written communication skills in Englishanalytical thinking skillsinteresting in working in a growing team focused on solving complex global reporting and audit pain pointsability to think critically and apply this to different situationswillingness to work within international, geographically dispersed, diverse, English-speaking teams on global projectsstrong communication skills, positive attitude, solution-oriented, have previous experience in leading client discussions, presenting trainings and can demonstrate strong verbal skillsproblem-solving skills, solution-orientation, innovation and willingness to contribute new ideas and solutionsability to support others, including coaching junior staffstrong project management and time management skillsstrong knowledge in use of audit software tools and the MS Office Suiteability to adapt to working in a hybrid remote / office environmentWhat we offer

The International Audit Team (IAT) is a newly formed unit within the Corporate Audit department that aims to support KPMG's European practices in audits of large international corporate groups and their subsidiaries.
