Senior Accountant

Recruitment for

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant. This role plays a key part in the financial operations of Czech entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.

Your responsibilities

Prepare accounting entries and maintain reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts
Produce financial analyses and support internal and external reporting
Handle CIT tax provisions, monthly VAT returns, manage tax audits, and liaise with external consultants for annual tax filings
Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely completion
Coordinate statutory audits and support Group Audit requirements
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and maintain internal controls
Provide both recurring and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders

Employer requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Administration

Minimum 3 years of experience as an independent accountant in an international company

Prior experience with audits and financial reporting

ERP experience (D365 is a plus)

Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax matters

Fluent in Czech and English, both written and spoken

Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of Czech accounting and tax regulations is a strong advantage

Motivated to expand knowledge of Czech financial and tax regulations
