Laboratory Intern

so we're one step ahead of the market. We're looking for a driven, detail-focused and eager to learn Laboratory Intern to join us in our Laboratory in Warsaw and help us deliver our mission of working for a safer world

During your internship, you will be supporting our Lab colleagues in handling mechanical and electrical tests in accordance to relevant safety standards.

• Builds and / or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests.
• Performs tests using general laboratory equipment.
• Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area.
• Operates computer terminal to extract / input readily available information and to use available software.
• As directed, follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results.
• Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results.
• Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions.
• As instructed, examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case.
• Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets.
• Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems.
• Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
