Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop teams of validation engineers and technicians.
Manage day-to-day operations of the validation laboratory with full responsibility for safety and compliance.
Build and expand laboratory capabilities, including infrastructure and test benches.
Develop and execute validation plans in line with automotive standards and customer requirements.
Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and facility management.
Plan and control laboratory budgets and capital equipment procurement.
Monitor and report KPIs, driving efficiency through tools like Power BI.
Collaborate with international engineering teams and cross-functional departments.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies and structured problem solving.
Ensure compliance with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO
Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in validation or design within automotive.
At least 3 years of proven leadership experience in technical organizations.
Strong project and team management skills, including budget and resource control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive team performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English (German or French is an advantage).
Willingness to travel (initial extended periods, then up to 15%).
Advantageous : laboratory management, power electronics knowledge, experience in automotive validation, programming skills (LabView, TestStand, C / C++), and Lean methodology.
