Project Manager

As Project Manager on our team, you will : Lead the design and manufacturing teams through the Aptiv development and industrialization process. Part of your job will be to support current production projects in ‘end of life’ components issues, design changes and cost improvement initiatives. The Project Manager will oversee initial plans, set milestones, track project activities and communicate project progress to stakeholders. Work cross-functionally to establish working relationships within the company and act as the main contact with customers.

Your role

In your daily job you will :

• Responsible to achieve flawless launches (i.e. full ownership to deliver programs on-time, with quality and in-charge of profitability)
• Acts as the program life cycle owner; brings strategy and holistic approach
• Support current production projects in; end of life on components situations, design changes and cost improvement initiatives
• Drives appropriate reviews / escalations, risk identification and mitigation, removes roadblocks
• Be owner of customer design change requests (lead quote preparation process) and later on execute implementation
• Responsible to support achievement of profitability for their assigned projects
• Secures budget approvals / creations on time for project execution
• Act as customer contact for regular management communication and escalation
• Responsible for credits tracking from owned projects
• Supervise prototypes coordination with dedicated team members
• Support in customer management (especially in critical situations)
• Supports new business development activities / pursuits
