Senior RTR Accountant with FRENCH

Job descriptionHandle journal entries, including payroll and accruals, and support ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed. Manage fixed assets and ensure accurate records are maintained. Prepare and reconcile VAT reports and accounts, and support required reporting to local authorities. Perform regular account reconciliations and monitor clearing accounts to ensure timely resolution of open items. Lead the monthly close process for relevant accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support internal and external audits by preparing financial data, answering queries, and ensuring documentation is complete. Maintain a clear understanding of the balance sheet, with well-documented specifications and reconciliations. Work independently in SAP and related systems, following accounting principles and company policies. Assist with the transfer of accounting processes from other business units and contribute to related projects. Handle internal and external inquiries in a clear, timely, and professional manner. Keep financial data secure and stay updated on relevant policies, regulations, and best practices. Collaborate effectively across departments and align tasks with business needs and priorities. Meet individual and team performance goals and take part in continuous improvement efforts.

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or RTR role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance processes
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is required
- Proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience with SAP
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in a shared service center or international organization is an advantage
