Production Planning Process Manager (Global Process Ownership)

Your responsibilities

  • Act as champion of the Global ERP template from a Production Planning process perspective.
  • Support the business with specialist expertise and knowledge of the processes and systems
  • Interact with upstream and downstream business processes to ensure alignment as required
  • Conduct routine assessment of business process performance, in order to identify opportunities to optimise / re-engineer processes as needed
  • Prepare business cases for planned or proposed changes
  • Optimise the use of ERP to support business processes, including the deployment of new functionality
  • Support user-training, capability-build and process-adoption gaps.

Our requirements

  • Degree qualified or with significant relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of Production Planning process within Supply Chain organisation
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong Experience in Production Planning / Scheduling process
  • Strong experience in using tools in Production Planning / Scheduling process : ECC, OMP, S / 4HANA ePPDS
  • Optional

  • Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement projects
  • Able to articulate experience managing senior stakeholders

    This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your Production Planning & Scheduling process knowledge and experience, as well as develop your expertise, within a world leading pharmaceutical company.

    The role of the Production Planning Process Manager is to help define the strategy and roadmap for the Production Planning process with the aim of enabling the business to operate effectively throughout the global supply chain. This will be achieved by continuously monitoring the Production Planning level of process adoption, execution and capability requirements in order to provide recommendations and solutions so that processes and systems are operated optimally and consistently across GSK globally.

    You will be working in partnership with other team members within the Global Supply Chain GPO team and across the business and various GSK functions. You will have the opportunity to perform a leading role in GSK within the Global Supply Chain GPO team.
