Software Lead - Site Reliability

EBS (part of ) is seeking a versatile Software Technical Lead to work on our Platform team with a strong background in databases and SRE. You will be part of the team that focuses on supporting our backend infrastructure, both triaging and responding to incidents, supporting our deployments and the associated tooling, as well as analyzing our system for improvements and introducing new technologies to our stack. We work at scale – we have millions of customers and millions of devices sending us data all the time.

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ?

• Be a mentor to our growing engineering department.
• Engage in the research, evaluation, and application of new technologies and methodologies to solve challenging problems.
• Take part in the entire project life cycle, from requirements development to deployment.
• Work hard and be flexible : we have quick development cycles, evolving requirements, and lots of cross-team collaboration.
• Exercise good judgment. Know when to work quickly, and when to build a robust solution. Your work will be used by multiple business units, so you will need to consider many use cases when developing.
• Bring your ideas! We want our engineers to collaborate on product development, not blindly build to a spec.
• Be part of a team that helps support our core production operations and deployments.
• Lead a small, self-sufficient team of engineers who are involved in support of our platform and production operations.
