Job description

Join our client, which has created a platform designed to help students improve their math skills through interactive problem-solving. It allows teachers to assign math tasks, monitor student progress in real time, and provide immediate feedback. The system focuses on developing mathematical thinking rather than just providing final answers, encouraging students to show their work and reasoning step by step.

We are looking for a regular and senior Engineer.

Responsibilities :

Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend services
Work within our microservices architecture , handling both maintenance and greenfield projects
Optimize, maintain, and continuously improve existing systems while building new features
Take ownership of the solutions you create, from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance
Collaborate with PMs, QAs, and other developers to create the best experience for our users

Requirements :

A proven track record in software engineering with a history of impactful contributions

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, efficient code

Proficiency in system design and making architectural decisions

A proactive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing startup environment

Confident English – you can easily communicate complex technical concepts

Team player – no lone wolves. You’re comfortable discussing tough problems, asking questions, and challenging ideas respectfully

Critical thinking – You’re comfortable discussing tough problems and asking hard questions!

Technologies :

TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS

MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ

AWS and microservices

Lots of integrations (we do that a lot)

A mix of greenfield and legacy systems

The offer :

Salary up to 30 000 PLN / mon
