Job description

We are the leading e-commerce company in the window and door sector in Europe with our nine international online shops, including our two major ones fensterversand and fenetre24. Behind our online shops is the Neuffer Fenster + Türen GmbH, founded in 1872 in Stuttgart. Tasks

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our e-commerce platforms. Collaborating closely with our dynamic team, you will spearhead the development of new services, manage supplier relationships, expand our product range, and optimize business processes to ensure our continued leadership in the market.

  • Develop innovative services for our e-commerce platforms, including fensterversand and windows24
  • Proactively manage and expand our supplier portfolio through cross-functional coordination
  • Expand and diversify our product range in line with market demands and trends
  • Negotiate purchasing terms with strategic suppliers, overseeing ongoing optimization and control
  • Streamline and optimize our business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Cultivate and nurture strong business relationships with partners and service providers
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor evaluations to identify growth opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between the sales, marketing, and IT departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment

Requirements

  • Completed technical or business degree or a comparable vocational training
  • At least two years of relevant experience in purchasing or category management in window construction or window trade
  • Good technical knowledge in windows and doors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Interest in and affinity for e-commerce and online business
  • Fluent English (German is nice ti have, but not required)
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence for organized documentation
  • Proven ability to work independently, reliably, and proactively, with a strong sense of initiative
