Senior Software Engineer (Python) - GenAI Team

Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Special Projects team, focusing on the exploration and implementation of Generative AI and other innovative new technologies . This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that leverage Generative AI.

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned software engineer with a passion for innovation and a track record of integrating Machine Learning and / or Generative AI into real-world applications. This candidate brings extensive experience in building scalable solutions across the technology stack, coupled with proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). With a collaborative mindset, this individual thrives in a team environment, working closely with staff and lead engineer s , the produc t owner , and data scientist s to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Python for back-end development is essential, ensuring seamless integration across the stack. Experience with JavaScript is also valuable for building user-friendly interfaces. Excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving effectively contribute to the team's success by translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.
