Senior Software Engineer

Job descriptionDegree in Computer Science or a similar field with 5+ years of software / information systems development experience using technologies like : Java, Spring, Quarkus, SQL databases like PostgreSQL. Backend knowledge, mainly DBs oriented is a must. GraphQL, REST and DevOps would be an advantage. Good to excellent experience in high volume data processing and delivery scalability and performance. Ideally, financial reference data knowledge would be highly appreciated. Strong sense of quality through integration tests and unit tests. Agile software development methodologies familiarity and customer orientation Strong work-ethic, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with good analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
What You Will Do
- Execute full lifecycle software development.
- Collaborate with the product owner and other team members in order to provide suitable software solutions to requirements.
- Ship high-quality, thoroughly reviewed code on time.
- Actively participate in regular Scrum ceremonies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and support the software in production.
- Have on-call responsibilities.
