Main Purpose of the role
The main purpose of the role is to directly contribute to execute our channel growth strategy in assigned territories in the Central & Eastern Europe region, through effective channel management and market development (industries, applications, product portfolio) towards delivering an annual orders plan in the territory through distributors, agents, other indirect channels to market. To support opportunities, sales process and relationships, direct customer relations (direct and Key Accounts) in the territories which are not within channel partners scope of supply.
The role will require effective commercial competencies and a minimum level of technical foundation, a blend of effective channel management skills, motivation and negotiation to drive significant growth through partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support and develop our channel partners in the designated territory on a day to day and relationship basis : Support communication with channel partners and interface with internal functions to drive highest levels of satisfaction and performanceMonitor and support offer preparation process from solutions, technical and commercial angleContribute to development and execution of channel partner plans in the territoryRepresent and support Ishida along with channel partners during exhibitions, events, fairs, symposiums and other local eventsDevelop territory coverage (industries, applications, product portfolio) with aim to increase penetration for Ishida products and aftersales
- Ensure compliance with key processes and governance
- Manage and nurture relations with Key Accounts / other potential direct businesses in the territory, supporting offer preparation process from solution, technical and commercial angle
- Contribute to business periodic reporting, and planning cycles including order forecasting, market insight, performance, corrective actions, dependencies
- Engage with Product Sales and Product Management to facilitate brand specific activities associated with market insight, product launches, campaigns, training, and competitor analysis.
- Identify improvements and initiatives to enhance the relationship and business process effectivity.
- Collaborate with local sales teams (also in other territories) as required to ensure alignment with direct sales tactical activities and minimize channel conflicts.
What skills are we looking for?
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate work experience within sales, be fluent in English & Polish or Czech, have good communication and organisation skills, must be commercially aware, have the ability to influence others and must be results orientated.
To be successful in this role you will be customer focussed, must have excellent problem skills, must be willing to learn, good team player and must have good interpersonal skills.
